“When a sermon at length comes to an end, people rise and praise God, and they feel the same way after many other speeches.”  ~John Andrew Holmes

Speaking to an audience requires different skills to those that serve us well during the rest of our talking lives. The trouble is that it isn’t immediately obvious what these are, let alone why our normal resources are failing us.

You’ll recognise the scene: Someone you know gets up to make a presentation, but this confident communicator is suddenly crippled by nerves, sounds muddled and confused, and their normal enthusiasm for their subject comes across as dull, boring and monotonous. Maybe that person is you. But you may not be exactly sure why it happens.

As with any public performance, you need good foundations if you’re to perform at your best. You need to think clearly about your messages, make sure they’re easily understood by your audience, and delivered authoritatively and with confidence. It’s true that practice makes perfect, but if you’re working with overly complicated material, then your chances of delivering your messages clearly will evaporate.

Nici, with more than 20 years as a public speaker and presenter, will show you how to construct a powerful presentation, one that has the punch to be memorable. With her guidance, you will feel more confident, command a greater presence, be less stressed when participating in or running meetings, and be someone who others look up to as a leader who can get a message across.
